What Our Research Found About Vouch

Role: Broker. Scope: Vouch Specialty Insurance Services, LLC as the current Vouch brokerage; Vouch Group, Inc. as the marketing-name group. Corix Insurance Services, LLC and Vouch Insurance Company are separately recorded transaction entities and are not assumed to be the current broker or a buyer’s issuer.

Vouch’s current disclosures state that Vouch is a marketing name for Vouch Group, Inc. and affiliates, while Vouch Specialty Insurance Services, LLC brokers insurance products. Corix Insurance Services, LLC and Vouch Insurance Company are separate entities in the 2025 Hiscox transaction and are not conflated with the current Vouch brokerage.[3][4]

Vouch Licensing

Vouch publishes NPN 19926463 and state P&C license entries, including California 6004944 and D.C. 3001442263, with a separate surplus-lines table. The list is company evidence; current regulator status and product-specific appointments were not independently established in this record.[5]

Vouch Financial Strength

The cited Vouch brokerage disclosures do not provide operational financial statements or identify one carrier’s solvency for every Vouch program. The Hiscox transaction announcement concerns former Corix/Vouch entities and does not establish financial strength or policy-issuer status for current Vouch Specialty placements. A carrier option or partner relationship must not be treated as financial evidence for the brokerage or for an unrelated policy.[3][1][4]

Vouch Risk-Bearing Relationships

Vouch says it is appointed with various carriers and markets multiple program coverages. Its current disclosures do not identify the carrier for every product, state or account; the policy declarations and underwriting entity must be checked for the buyer’s placement.[3][1][6]

One Vouch carrier relationship is named, and the carrier disclosed it. Hiscox’s press release of 6 August 2025 states that Hiscox is acquiring Corix Insurance Services, LLC and Vouch Insurance Company from Vouch, Inc., that “Vouch, Inc. remains an independent insurance broker,” and that “as part of the transaction, Hiscox and Vouch, Inc. have agreed to a multi-year distribution deal.” Vouch repeats the transaction on its own product pages, describing Corix as the underwriting division of Vouch and the acquisition as bringing more coverage options to Vouch clients. The relationship is therefore evidenced by both sides rather than asserted by Vouch alone.[4][7]

The release does not state which Vouch products, states or clients the distribution agreement covers, how long “multi-year” runs, or whether it is exclusive, and it does not make Hiscox the insurer on a particular Vouch placement. It states that Hiscox USA small business insurance is underwritten either by Hiscox Insurance Company Inc. or by a Hiscox syndicate at Lloyd’s available on a surplus-lines basis, which describes Hiscox’s own paper. Corix Insurance Services, LLC and Vouch Insurance Company now sit within Hiscox and are no longer Vouch capacity.[4]

Beyond Hiscox, Vouch names no carrier. Its disclosures state only that “Vouch Specialty is appointed with various carriers,” and its product pages cite a “500+ partner network” without naming a market. The Vouch support-centre articles that reportedly identify underwriters could not be opened for this research, so nothing in them is relied on here.[3][7]

Vouch Claims and Service

Vouch offers claims advocacy resources for clients, including carrier communication and updates. Its service page describes brokerage advocacy, not authority to determine coverage or pay claims, which remains a policy/carrier function.[2][3]

Vouch Regulatory Record

The public evidence includes Vouch’s current license disclosure and a documented 2025 corporate transaction involving former Corix/Vouch entities. A complete independent state-license and five-year conduct search for Vouch Specialty Insurance Services, LLC is not established in this record; the record does not establish a completed five-year conduct result.[5][4]

What We Couldn’t Confirm About Vouch

  • Independent current regulator confirmation of Vouch Specialty licenses and appointments is not established in this record.
  • Carrier-by-product/state mapping is incomplete; current Vouch Specialty, Vouch Group, Vouch, Inc., Corix and Vouch Insurance Company require continued separation and policy-specific issuer evidence.
  • Hiscox’s transaction does not establish a generic current policy issuer, claims-payment authority or financial strength for Vouch Specialty.
  • Broker operational financials, claims performance and full conduct search remain unresolved.
  • Surplus-lines status and applicable state transaction requirements need product-specific review.
  • Only the Hiscox distribution agreement names a Vouch carrier relationship, and its product, state, exclusivity and term scope is undisclosed; Vouch’s “appointed with various carriers” and “500+ partner network” statements name no market.
  • The Vouch support centre at support.vouch.us could not be opened, so any underwriter named there is unverified and is not relied on.
