No. General liability doesn't pay for missed deadlines or failed deliverables; it covers injury, property damage, and certain indemnity agreements the policy calls insured contracts.

No. General liability pays for bodily injury, property damage, and a list of personal and advertising offenses, so a customer's claim that you missed a deadline, failed to deliver, or didn't meet specifications isn't covered. The personal and advertising injury section expressly excludes breach of contract.

The policy does cover some liability you take on by contract. It treats a lease of premises, and the part of any business contract where you agree to take on another party's liability for injury or damage to others, as an "insured contract." If your agreements include indemnity clauses, ask your insurer whether they qualify.
